Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 May 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Baoser ("we", "our", "us") handles information in connection with our website at baoser.ai and our internal publishing tools that interact with the YouTube Data API and other Google services.
1. What this policy covers
Baoser operates a network of YouTube channels and an internal automated publishing pipeline. Our publishing pipeline is an internal tool used solely by Baoser operators. It is not offered as a public service. This policy describes how that internal tool handles data, including data accessed via Google APIs, in order to comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy.
2. Information we access via Google APIs
Our publishing pipeline uses the YouTube Data API v3 with the following OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload— to upload videos to YouTube channels we operatehttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly— to verify the authenticated channel matches our configuration
We only use these scopes to upload videos and verify the authenticated channel identity. We do not read, modify, or delete any other content on the channel beyond uploading new videos that we have produced.
3. How we use Google user data
Data accessed through Google APIs is used solely for the purpose of operating our internal publishing pipeline. Specifically:
- Uploading videos we have produced to channels we operate
- Setting video metadata (title, description, tags, category, privacy status)
- Setting custom thumbnails for our videos
- Confirming the OAuth-authenticated channel identifier matches our configuration
4. Limited use of Google user data
Baoser's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not:
- Sell, rent, or trade Google user data to any third party
- Use Google user data for advertising, ad-targeting, or marketing
- Use Google user data to train or improve generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models
- Allow humans to read Google user data, except (i) with the user's affirmative consent for specific data they request, (ii) where necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (iii) to comply with applicable law, or (iv) where the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations
5. Storage and security
OAuth tokens issued by Google are stored locally on the operator's machine, in encrypted form where possible, in a directory not exposed to public networks. We do not transmit tokens to any external server. We do not store Google user data beyond what is required to maintain authenticated sessions during a publishing run.
Tokens are revoked automatically by Google after periods of inactivity. Operators can also manually revoke access at any time via Google Account permissions.
6. Information collected from website visitors
The Baoser website (baoser.ai) does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels. We do not collect personal information from visitors browsing this website.
7. Third parties
Our publishing pipeline interacts with the following third-party services solely for the purpose of producing and publishing video content:
- Anthropic and OpenAI APIs (script generation)
- Microsoft Edge TTS (voice synthesis)
- Pexels API (royalty-free stock images)
- Wikipedia / Wikimedia Commons (publicly licensed reference images)
- YouTube Data API v3 (video upload)
No personal user data is transmitted to these services. Each is used only with publicly available content or operator-supplied prompts.
8. Data retention and deletion
Operators may delete cached OAuth tokens at any time by removing the relevant file from local storage. Operators may also revoke our application's access to their Google account via Google Account permissions.
9. Children's privacy
Baoser content is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
